GRIMES: "'Dachie' puppet a real, manufactured, assembly line toy. His name is machine-typepressed into his neck, and is the name his creator/s bestowed upon him. He was originally my sister's. It still has a barking' squeaker, (spring-operated, in a polka dot 'gullet sack' sewn to the neck of and hidden under it's 'handgown'/ 'gloveshirt'?), that we wore out when we were kids. Silenced forever, except for a plasticky cricketing noise, he has had a 'checkered' past, having spent some few years in the garage attic. He now gathers dust in my room. As do I. Oh, and I did, however, create the 'deliciously' matching cookies." -- RG (September 21st, 2009).

GRIMES: "Also another 2 pg comic by me called "Under The Rug". Long intended to be for that (#2) issue. This time done mostly in pen, rather than brush (and with completely different, more complexly relating characters) it's alot more difficult to tell what's going on in it. But, they're supposedly part of the same little world as the 'Footstool' characters (ie Matronfish, etc.). The newspaper muzzle on Newshound says, "Extra, Extra, Mysterious Attacke(r) slays... "All important": The message: [Candy ingredients] Milk, eggs, Two cans cream, Apricots in Heavy (syr)up." -- Rick Grimes (December 2008 / March 2009).
